This morning, like every morning, was the same. This is where the challenge of the deployment really begins. By 0630 is it 100 degrees outside. The food seems to taste the same. Work with same people you see at night. Uniform city. Add to that long days and an increasing workload; you feel it wearing you down.
I was talking with someone this morning at the galley, and he echoed the same thoughts. When we were done thinking of the same above, we both started compiling the list of items from home. Family and summer events came to mind.
As hard as this can get, our homelives ate coping as well. Bills, the yard, back to school shopping soon. It adds up.
Lunch at the galley now. Spent the morning hauling furniture that needs to be assembled up the stairs to the new office space. So much fun at 131. Degrees that is.
